Point to how you feel
Tap an emotion, add how strong it is, then let the board speak for you.
What it does
Being able to say "I am overwhelmed" or "I feel calm" is a cornerstone of wellbeing — yet emotions are exactly the thing that gets hardest to describe when you need to express them most. The Feelings Board presents emotions as clear, labelled tiles, each with an intensity level, so you can point to exactly how you feel. It helps others understand you, and helps you understand yourself.

Intensity levels (a little / very / extremely)
Reduces frustration from being misunderstood
Useful for self-reflection and check-ins
Helps family, friends and carers respond better
How to use it
- 1 Open the feelings board
Emotions are grouped: happy, sad, angry, anxious, tired, overwhelmed and more.
- 2 Point to the emotion
Select the tile that matches how you feel right now.
- 3 Add intensity
Indicate "a little", "very" or "extremely" so others know how strong the feeling is.
- 4 Add context if you like
Follow up with a cause tile: "because of noise", "because of change", "because I am tired".
- 5 Share with someone
Show the board to a trusted person so they can support you — or use it as a daily check-in with yourself.
Practical tips
- Use it as a daily mood check-in — ten seconds at breakfast keeps you tuned to your own needs.
- Practise with family so "I feel overwhelmed" becomes an easy phrase to share, not a confession.
- Pair with the Needs Board to move from "I feel bad" to "and here is what would help".
